Joy Kimmel specializes in personal and organizational effectiveness. Joy provides facilitation, training and coaching services in the areas of teamwork, leadership, strategic planning, communication and conflict management skills, organizational issues, personal development, and meetings and conferences. Her extensive experience includes independent management consulting since 1994, 11 years in environmental project and long range planning, and three years as Training Officer for over 6,000 employees in the Pacific Southwest Region of the U S Department of Agriculture, Forest Service. While with the Forest Service, Joy also served as an internal organizational effectiveness consultant for 11 years.

Before becoming a management consultant, Ms. Kimmel was a Consulting Botanist, and was an instructor at Allan Hancock Community College in Santa Maria, California where she taught Life and Physical Science courses. She was also on the faculty development committee and worked on the development of educationally disadvantaged students.

Ms. Kimmel's extensive client list includes the US Forest Service and US Bureau of Land Management, Arizona State Parks, Boys Scouts and Girl Scouts of America, El Paso Natural Gas Company, Arizona Public Service Utility Company, Prescott High School, Alaska State Department of Fish and Game, Town of Chino Valley in Arizona, and Department of Veteran Affairs, among others.

Ms. Kimmel has completed extensive coursework in management and organizational development and effectiveness. She has a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences and a Master's Degree in Botany from California State University, Chico.
